Question: Has anyone looked into grant funding to help the cause?
Answer: We're constantly looking at grants. However, the district doesn't qualify for 90 percent of the grants that are out there. We do apply for many of the grants that we qualify for, even though the district does not employ a grant writer. For instance, the district will be receiving a $25,000 grant from State Sen. Hugh Farley's office to pay for technology upgrades.
