Is the After School Program self-sufficient?

Question: After School Program – Could you please detail what an After School Program staff person is being paid per hour, because I believe I have read that After School Staff are being paid over $25 per hour, and could this offering not be staffed utilizing an outside service, or outside individuals, to come into our school, for much less money per hour? It seems as though local individuals could be screened, go through the approval process and be hired for a much lower hourly rate - $25 per hour to watch children after school is not equitable to tax payers in my opinion.

Answer: The after-school program is self-funded by tuition payments. The rate of pay is commensurate with contractual wages.
