No questions for a month?

Question: Has this not been updated recently or have people just not put in comments since October 30th?

Answer: Patriot Plain Talk is up-to-date. We did not receive any new questions or comments during the month of November. Typically, we try to answer all submitted questions within a week of receiving them.

Comment about Patriot Plain Talk

Comment: I have read over the questions here and have to say something about those so concerned about the budget that they would waste the valuable time of our superintendent to ask if someone working for B-P was on school time. I am sure it took him at least fifteen minutes to confirm your answer.

It is quite apparent that some of us want to live in great big homes but not pay the taxes that come with those homes. The bottom line is this: If you can not afford your taxes, you need to downsize.

What is the status of Patriot Plain Talk?

Question: During a winter BOE Meeting it the possible removal of Plain Talk from the BP Website was discussed. Could we be told who exactly wanted the removal of Plain Talk from the website, who brought this topic to discussion? In addition could we have information as to where Plain Talk stands at this point?

Answer: Right now, Patriot Plain Talk is not being eliminated. At the February Board of Education meeting, the use of the tool was discussed and the board reviewed the questions that have been answered since its creation. The Board of Education may choose to review whether or not to continue Patriot Plain Talk at any point, although at the February meeting, the board members discussed the value of providing an ongoing forum for asking questions and receiving answers.
